Sheila talks to Durham FM's Peter Grant, accompanied by the cast of Snow White
Hello,
I have some new pics taken at Durham's first Santa Stroll, where I was honored to be a special guest. All in aid of a charity that is very close to my heart - having already been there.
Every one had a fantastic time: the parents dressed as Santas and the children as reindeer. The cast of Snow White were there (you can see me with them in the picture above) and the Chester-le-Street Town Crier did her usual fantastic job. She has to be seen to be believed. Santa 's sleigh was pulled by the most beatful Shetland pony. The organisers also did a fantastic job running round for ages beforehand gritting paths, and everything went exactly according to plan.
Pleae put it on your list as one of next years must-do things, you will have a great family time and also you will be helping the blind. Next year we hope it will be even bigger.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
